Halcyon Rug Wool is spun and dyed in America's finest custom spinning mills and dye houses. It is available in nearly 100 colors ranging from earth tones to crayon brights. Choose the rich colors of a desert sunset, the light washed shades of desert brush, the evocative colors of Maine's coastal landscape, or the bright and cheerful shades of your child's favorite crayons. Many shades are subtle and harmonious, others bright and radiant. The colors blend in endless combinations allowing you to express your feelings of a certain place, or state of mind in your own creations.

Weavers : Recommended Warps:
100% Worsted Wool Warp - Item 110 (Grey)
100% Worsted Wool Warp - Item 111 (White)
100% Linen Soft Finish Warp - Item 112

Recommended Sett: for a weft face weave
Tabby: Use the 2, 3 or 4-ply warps doubled or tripled at 4 epi
5-ply single at 4 epi (5 epi with beater weights)

Twill: Use the 2, 3 or 4-ply warps doubled at 5-6 epi.
Use the 5-ply warp doubled at 4 epi or single at 5 epi.

Recommended Weft Amounts:
Plain weave: Allow 4-6 ounces per square foot.
Twill and Boundweave: Allow 5-8 ounces per square foot.

These weft allowances will be adequate for a tight, firm weft face weave.

Rug Punchers and Hookers: Allow two skeins per square foot.

Knitted & Crocheted Rugs: Allow up to 2 skeins per square foot, may use 1-3 strands together
