Halcyon Yarn Bag: Display Your Pride in Quality Fibers.

Thursday, May 1st, 2008 Posted in New Items | 2 Comments »

Halcyon Yarn Bagbaby in bagAt long last, we have an exciting addition to our store: The Halcyon Yarn Bag! We work hard to find the most beautiful and highest quality fibers so that we can pass them along to you, and we take pride in our work. So we searched for ages to find the right bag to represent Halcyon Yarn. We think we’ve found the right one: This canvas bag is made from recycled fibers, and is a perfect size for transporting your fiber projects. Stuff it with skein after skein of yarn or pound upon pound of fiber. Throw in your needles, crochet hooks, carders and more - the rugged construction will stand up to plenty of hard-traveling abuse. The bag handles are durable webbing and are long enough to slide onto a shoulder, but short enough to comfortably hang from your hand. Use it with pride, use it because it’s useful, use it because it’s recycled and is good for the environment.

Also good for books, shopping, picnics etc., measures 13″ wide X 14″ high X 3″ gusset. This bag is made and printed in the USA. Pictured baby and yarn not included. Available for $12/ea.

There is an understated beauty to shawls, and finding the best way to accentuate this with a pin can be fun but challenging. We were struck by the simple beauty of these pins, and their ease of use.

Using simple hand-made ebony sticks, and strong well crafted materials such as wood, metal, and shell, these are the types of items that will be in your family for ages to come.

If you haven’t tried using shawl pins, you’re in for a treat when you see the ease and elegance that they bring to your finished project.

If you have used them, then you’ll appreciate the elegance and quality of these pins. They make a perfect addition to your shawl gifts, but you’ll want one for yourself too!
