Great for lightweight blankets and Shetland style sweaters and available in a wide color range makes Harrisville Shetland an easy choice for pattern weft for overshot coverlets. Well coordinated color choices including subtle heathers are ideal for finer weight Turkish and Fair Isle knitting designs. Weavers: For overshot use a warp of Homestead Cotton or our 5/2 Pearl Cotton at a sett of 15 epi. For all wool fabrics and blankets warp at a sett of 10 to 12 epi for a fabric with more drape after fulling. 25 - 30 Mircron count fiber for softness and loft.
