These looms clearly combine quality craftsmanship and the beauty of fine furniture with a rugged, sturdy, efficient machine. Made in the United States of your choice of the finest hardwoods - maple, northern cherry, or American walnut - these looms please most weavers. They are rising shed, jack-type looms that use Texsolv tie-ups. This system offers an even and ample shed. The beater is sturdy and its motion precisely controlled by its doubly supported pivot positioned within the loom frame. The addition of beater weight makes this loom strong enough to be used as a rug loom. The beater and all jacks use steel bearings for a long life. The loom uses front and back beam ratchet and pawl breaks to ensure that your warp tension won't slip. All looms come standard with 2 more treadles than harnesses, but up to 14 treadles may be special ordered. Heddles are flat steel with a large 9/16" eye. The loom also comes with reed, lease sticks, and heddle transfer bars. Optional accessories include - double beam, sectional warp beam, bench, and beater weights. Available in 4, 6, or 8 harnesses in 30, 40, or 45" weaving widths. Customer pays shipping and $38.00 crating charge.
