| Leclerc Dorothy 15 3/4" Loom The Leclerc Dorothy is the tried and true table loom from Leclerc. In the 4 shaft form, the castle folds down for easy carrying and storage. The 8 shaft model is unable to fold. The levers are positioned on the right side (although you can alternate sides on the 8 shaft version) of the loom. To facilitate selecting the correct harnesses, the levers are of graduating lengths and variable colors. This loom comes with a steel reed, 400 wire heddles, 1 boat shuttle, 1 reed and heddle hook, 2 metal lease sticks, loop cord for lashing, and instructions. This loom has the option of a 4 or 8 shaft floor stand including treadles to make this loom a true floor loom. | Leclerc Voyageur Looms These are the newest table looms made by Leclerc. They are designed for portablity. The front and back beams fold in towards the castle and the whole loom can be transported in the bag that comes with the loom. The 9.5" loom is an 8 shaft model, but the 15.75" and the 24" looms are avaialble in 4, 8, and 12 shaft models with easily accessible front mounted levers (numbered from right to left, but you can order it with #1 on the left). These looms come with a low profile cherry shuttle, stainless steel reed, reed and heddle hook, 2 metal lease sticks, 2 beam sticks, newly designed warp and cloth roll lashing system, 2 screwdrivers, transfer heddle bars, instructions, and carrying bag. | Louët 16in Klik Table Loom-4Harness $510.00 For workshops, teaching, the new weaver or samples, the "Klik" is unparalleled in the industry. It is a compact 40cm (16") wide, economical and expandable table loom. You can start with four harnesses and keep adding harnesses by fours all the way up to sixteen. The harnesses are raised by lifting the handles at the sides until the little spring legs click out. Or should we say "klik" out? The harnesses fall back into place when the spring legs are pushed back in. The handles have been made long and short, dark and light colored, to make visual distinction between harnesses easy. There are also stickers supplied ith the loom, which can be used to number the harnesses. The new swinging beater is attached with U-shaped steel brakets to the frame, ensuring a parallel beating motion. It holds standard size reeds. The "Klik" comes complete with four harnesses, 200 Texsolv heddles, stainless steel reed 40-10 (10e.p.i.), 2 flat shuttles, 16 warp sticks, 2 tie-up sticks, 2 lease sticks and instructions. | Louët Kombo 40 (16") or 70 (28") Table Looms This loom offers upgradability, so the beginner can try out weaving on a rigid heddle, then advance to a harness loom with the option of making it a lightweight floor loom. The Kombo looms are made of lacquered beech. The Kombo 40 is a 16" table loom. When not in use, this loom folds flat (22"x31"x7.5"), allowing you to transport or store it easily with or without a warp. It comes with 200 string heddles, which are very quiet and have large eyes for easier threading. The Kombo has an overhead beater, which allows the weaver to develop a more natural rhythm. This loom also comes with a stainless steel 10 dent reed, lease sticks, tie-up sticks, 2 flat shuttles, and instructions. The Kombo 70 is 28" wide and comes with 400 heddles as well as the other items. It folds to 34"x31"x7.5". The Kombo 70 can be made into a real floor loom, by mounting lams and treadles. | Louët Magic 40/70 Dobby These 16" or 28" weaving width looms are a complex weavers dream. You can operate the 24 harnesses using pegs inserted into the bars (lags). Each bar has 24 holes correspoding to the 24 available harnesses. You connect the bars in series to form a chain that can be over a 100 bars long (you will need weights when the chain is over 34 (44 for MD70) bars long. When used as a table loom, the shed is made by lifting a lever. When the loom is mounted on a floor stand, the shed is made by depressing a treadle. The front and rear sections fold towards the castle for storage. The loom is constructed of lacquered beech and measures 23" (for MD40) or 35" (for MD70) wide, 55" high (with stand), and 39" deep (when folded, the folded loom does fit through a standard door). The loom comes with a raddle, 600 (for MD40) or 800 (for MD70) Texsolv heddles, 30 program bars with pegs, swivel beater system, 10 dent stainless steel reed, lease and tie-up sticks, 16 warp sticks, and floor stand with treadle. Optional items include - floor stand mounted beater, Dobby chain weights, additional program bars and pegs, 2nd warp beam, flying Dutchman shuttle, and bench An electronic interface (Magic Box) is available to replace the chain of program bars. This interface can be used with PC and Macintosh computers. You will need software from Fiberworks PCW, Pro Weave, or Patternland. | Schacht Table Looms Schacht makes sturdy, stable table looms (they don't fold) that are great for classrooms or other areas where they will get a lot of use (or abuse). The looms have fine-toothed nylon gears on both beams for precise tensioning. The front-mounted levers are easier to access and tomake accurate shaft selection than side mounted levers. The looms come in 15", 20", and 25" weaving widths with either 4 or 8 harnesses. The loom comes with your choice of carbon steel reed, flat steel heddle, two apron rods, and three lease sticks.
