Looking for a perfectly sweet and easy to make summer top? Sierra knit this up in no time, and with Cascade Ultra Pima Cottons, this is a fun and affordable dip into cotton!
Size small used two skeins zen green, one skein natural. For extra interest you could use a “paint” for the body as well. Knit on US 5 and 6 straight needles with a gauge of 6 sts/1″. Start at the back hem, knit up and over the shoulders to end at the front hem. Sew side seams.

Cascade Ultra Pima Cottons are available in solid and variegated paints, and the two mix and match beautifully. These sleek mercerized yarns are 100% Peruvian pima cotton and are machine wash and dry so they’re great for kids and home decor items as well. With 220 yds/100g hank there’s a lot of yardage to play with. The recommended gauge is 5.5-6 sts/1″ on a sz 5-6 (US) needle so it will work in many sport to DK weight patterns. Sturdy, but still soft, these cottons also make excellent weaving yarns in both warp and weft.
