Jo Sharp Soho Summer DK Cotton Yarn

Soho Summer DK is a cool and comfortable 100% cotton yarn that is incredibly silky against the skin. Lightweight and luxurious to wear, with a slightly polished finish. Beautiful for knitting and crochet, the super-soft fiber and finely plied construction provides an elegant matte finish in a sunwashed color palette that’s fun, fresh, and sophisticated. A true DK gauge, this yarn may be used/substituted in a wide range of DK patterns.

Great for sweaters and tunics, as well as accessories and home decor items, this yarn also makes a great knitted t-shirt or camisole. Finished pieces feature wonderful drape without being too dense, and the firm, even finish offers great stitch definition. Weavers, this is a great cotton to try in striped table linens and towels this summer!

Yarn: 100% cotton. Hand or machine wash gentle in cool or warm water, lay flat to dry. You may machine wash and dry, just be sure to test a swatch first to determine shrinkage and adjust the size of your finished piece accordingly.

Gauge: 5 – 6 sts to 1″ US #6 needles; sett: tabby 8 – 10, twill, 12 – 15.

This sweet, pocketed smock is worked in stocking (stockinette) stitch with a shaped bodice that flares towards the hips with slits at the sides. The shaping easily lends itself to maternity wear, however it is a flattering and easy summer tunic fit on anyone. Pattern features four sizes, uses 9 – 11 balls. Casual, comfy, cute and practical!

A classic sweater with an Hourglass Cable, 3/4 length sleeves, and boat neck. Pattern includes six sizes, requires 9 – 15 balls.

A simple, summery, cotton skirt knitted in stocking stitch with an elastic rib band at waist. Quick construction in a simple striped style, mix and match colors however you like. Knit a little looser on a US size #9 for plenty of stretch, the pull-on style looks great over leggings! Requires 4 balls main color, 2 balls next color, and 1 ball third color.
