Expand your rigid heddle creativity! The Ashford Vari-Dent reed can be used to create interesting effects by using different yarn weights in different reed sections as you create your warp. Design a warp with handspun art yarns, a mix of weights and textures, or mix and match any yarn you can think of.
Available for Ashford Standard Rigid Heddle, Knitters, and SampleIt looms.
The reed kit includes a selection of Small 5 cm (2”) and Large 10cm (4") sections of 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, and 15 dpi. Be sure to match your reed size to the size of your loom. Simply remove the top rail to easily change and rearrange sections.
10’' - 16” kits contain two 2" sections and one 4" section of each dent.
20” - 32” kits contain two 2" sections and two 4" sections of each dent.
