Description

Bartlett's Fisherman Maine Wool is a 100% wool, 2-ply, woolen spun, worsted weight yarn. 

• Soft, lofty wool with a homespun appearance.
• Large array of heathered colors, reminiscent of Maine where the yarn is produced.
• Retains some of its natural lanolin so it is water repellent making it an excellent choice for sweaters, hats, or mittens.
• Perfect for woven blankets and knit or woven fabric, including those that will be felted or fulled.

Weight/Gauge: Please note that these yarns are spun in small lots on antique machinery, the gauge/thickness may vary from color to color and dyelot to dyelot. Please purchase enough for your project, be prepared to adjust your gauge, and if you are combining colors please contact us before placing your order if you would like us to review the colors to make sure the weights are compatible.
