Economical and enormous skeins, what more could you want in a beautiful yarn? The huge 8.8 oz/250 gram skeins have 478 yds each, so you’ll have fewer ends to weave in your projects and plenty of yardage for sweaters or blankets in this lovely wool. Cascade Eco & Eco Plus wools are soft, 100% Peruvian Highland wool blended into softly mixed heathers. Eco is mixed natural wool colors while Eco Plus is everything you love about Eco naturals dyed and mixed into fabulous nature-inspired hues.
The 2-ply construction is strong, evenly spun, and somewhat loosely plied so the yarn is not overly stretchy, making it a terrific weaving yarn for heavier pieces in warp and/or weft. Soft, yet durable this non-superwash wool is ideal for heavier knitted sweaters, gloves, mittens, or toasty blankets. Also great for felted knitting when making slippers or vessels!
Care: Handwash cool, lay flat or hang to dry.
