Coopworth wool roving is a joy to spin! Coopworth is a breed resulting from crossbreeding Border Leicester and Romney Crossbreeds in New Zealand. This Coopworth is blended with other New Zealand breeds to make a fleece that is characteristically silky and easy to spin. The fibers are strong and medium to coarse in texture counts ranging from 46 –50. Staple lengths range from 4-6 inches. Coopworth Blend wool roving is great for beginners, as well as felting.
