Knit Extension Cords–Stitch Holder Cords

This wonderful bundle of three cord sizes is a necessary notion in every knitter's bag–plus they come in a handy storage tin!

Each knitting 'extension cord' is 60" of durable silicone tubing in a different diameter to fit different sizes of needles. Simply slide the tip of these hollow tube cords onto the tip of your needle and you’ve instantly got a cord extension. The slightly stretchy silicone material grips the needles tightly, preventing it from accidentally slipping off (even if it’s only on the very tip). Works with straight, circular, or double pointed needles from size US 1 to 15!

  These sizes are suggestions. Your perfect fit will depend on how pointy the tips of your needles are. Fit should be snug to avoid stitch-spills!

With these handy cords you can easily slide live stitches off the needle without the risk of dropping and running. While your knitting is in progress, you can check garment fit by spreading stitches across tubing. Simply slide as many stitches onto your extension cord as you need to be able to try on your work, then slide them back when you’re ready to knit again. The cords also make an excellent extra large stitch holder. When ready to knit again, stitches easily slide back onto the knitting needle.
