Schacht Trestle Stand Insert Kit for Rigid Heddle Loom Stands

The Retrofit Insert Kit for Trestle Stands is necessary for older/original rigid heddle looms and any Flip looms made before late February 2010.

Kit includes drill bit, wrench, a tool to install threaded brass inserts, and two threaded brass inserts. You will need a tape measure and drill.

If you have purchased the newer stand please check to see if you already have the necessary insert components.

Flip looms will have a hole on each side somewhere close to the front beam. If the hole does not have a threaded insert, use this kit to retrofit your loom. Once the loom has these inserts, it can be installed on a Trestle Stand. (see image)
