Texsolv Cord, full spool 22 yds

Texsolv Cord is a strong, smooth braided polyester cord with evenly spaced loops along the entire length. The Texsolv system of harness/shaft and treadle tie-up is so versatile it has the answer for any tie-up problem from shafts to treadles.

This spool of polyester loop cord is a continuous string of "button holes" which can be threaded in and around various loom pieces and secured with either of the two styles of pegs: arrow or anchor. It is great for replacing many parts of a loom's tie-up, whether originally threaded with Texsolv, or in place of worn out chains, cords or leather attachments on older looms.

This "light" loop cord as it has a breaking strength of 180 pounds, making it suitable for almost any application! In the shop we call it 'the duct tape of weaving' since you never want to be without it and you'll always find some new and unexpected use for it.

Each spool contains 22 continuous yards (66 feet).

Heavy Loop Cord is also available by the yard. Only if you're working with a large rug loom is the heavy loop cord advisable.
