The Louët XL Drum Carder is tailored for handling large-scale fiber projects. Measuring 12 inches (30 cm) wide, it can efficiently card fleeces up to approximately 120 grams.
Its expanded drum surface facilitates effortless blending of colors and fibers. The card cloth features nickel-plated steel wire mounted on a cotton and natural rubber base, ensuring durability. Constructed with birch plywood and a white Melamine finish, the frame is sturdy and easy to maintain. Enclosed roller gears minimize upkeep. Included are a doffer brush, doffer pin, two table clamps, and a comprehensive manual by Deb Menz. The carder arrives fully assembled, ready for expert use.
