Paper Quills (10/pack)

Before there were plastic weaving bobbins there were quills, often made from rolled paper and now improved in sturdy cardboard with a textured surface to help keep fine threads in place. Sold in packages of 10.

The opening is approximately 5 mm. Quills are too narrow to fit on most single-ended bobbin winders. You can wind them by hand, use a double-ended bobbin winder, or a special quill winder with a thinner spindle.

Available in 3.5", 4", 5" and 6" lengths.
