Join us for an in-person weaving demonstration by Seth Ramus. Discover the magic of fine handwoven cloth, and talk with the weaver as the work unfolds. Shop Seth's beautifully crafted scarves, blankets, and more.

About the Artist: Seth Ramus

Seth is a longtime knitter and spinner, and in the last two years has developed a passion for weaving. He originally leaned to knit from his mother who is a Master Knitter, and whose stash is still larger than his although, he shops in hers regularly.

Seth and his wife have lived in Freeport, Maine for the last 24 years. They share their home with their two daughters, a dog without a tail, two cats without tails, and a lizard with a tail, and quite a lot of fiber.

Seth is also the President of the Board of Directors of the Oasis Free Clinics. Oasis is a nonprofit, no cost medical and dental clinic that serves uninsured adults in southern Mid-Coast Maine. In addition to demonstrating weaving and discussing all things fiber, Seth will be more than happy to tell you more about Oasis.  Our major fundraiser, the Brunswick in Bloom Garden Tour, will be held on July 18.  Learn more at https://oasisfreeclinics.org/brunswick-in-bloom/.

Seth will also be selling handwoven blankets, dish towels, scarves and more.  All proceeds from these sales will be donated to support Oasis.
